VERY slow scanner

The first one was defective (the "smart" keyboard did not light up), but luckily the dealer (Prodimex in Geneva) exchanged in within 24h.

Scan quality is good, print too (although I haven't printed much).

But scanning is extremely slow (especially duplex) - like 1 page per minute!... and the accompanying software is disastrous. You can't even download it from Canon's website and lacks some basic features. I had the PIXMA MX 870 and was much happier with it.
